The Swiss Socie­ty of Health Psy­cho­lo­gy pro­po­ses a group lunch semi­nar on Emer­ging Topics in Cli­ni­cal Health Psy­cho­lo­gy. The group aims to pro­vi­de sci­en­ti­fic updates that streng­then the pro­fes­sio­nal skills of health psy­cho­lo­gists working in cli­ni­cal set­tings (hos­pi­tals, cli­nics and out­pa­ti­ent prac­ti­ces). Semi­nar ses­si­ons will focus on spe­ci­fic are­as of exper­ti­se such as psycho-onco­lo­gy, psycho-car­dio­lo­gy, pain psy­cho­lo­gy, pri­ma­ry care psy­cho­lo­gy, psycho-der­ma­to­lo­gy, with par­ti­cu­lar empha­sis on inter­di­sci­pli­na­ry work, com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on and the well-being of health pro­fes­sio­nals. The semi­nar will be inter­ac­ti­ve and will wel­co­me par­ti­ci­pan­ts with pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence in cli­ni­cal health psy­cho­lo­gy or inte­res­ted in the topics from other fields of acti­vi­ty (psy­cho­the­ra­py, cli­ni­cal psy­cho­lo­gy, ger­ia­tric psychology).
